What can I expect during my photo shoot experience?
Your 40 Women Over 40 Photo Experience is designed to celebrate and empower you! After booking, we’ll start with a consultation to discuss your vision, style, and any special requests you may have. On the day of the shoot, you'll be pampered with professional makeup, tailored to your preferences. You have the option to add a hairstylist at an additional rate. Then, we’ll create a relaxed, fun atmosphere where you can express yourself and receive personal guidance in front of the camera. You can also request custom sets, creative props, and personalized backdrops. We’ll make sure every detail aligns with your unique personality and vision.

What happens after my photo shoot?
After your photo shoot, you’ll be invited back to the studio for a private photo reveal session to view your portraits for the first time. During this session, you’ll select your favorite image for your signature portrait and have the option to purchase additional images, digital collections, prints, or canvases. Your journey concludes with the exhibition segment of the campaign, either in person or through an online gallery, where your stunning portrait will be showcased alongside the stories of other inspiring women.

Do I get to choose my portrait and digital images?
Yes! After your photo shoot, you'll have the chance to view your images in a private reveal session. During this session, you’ll select your signature portrait for the campaign, which is included in your experience. You’ll also have the option to purchase additional images, digital collections, or prints, allowing you to keep the photos that speak most to you.

How should I dress for my photoshoot?
Your session includes one look, but we recommend bringing 2–3 outfits to choose from on the day of your shoot. These should reflect your personal style and make you feel confident and comfortable. The most important thing is that you feel amazing in what you wear. Avoid clothing with large logos or busy patterns, as they can be distracting in portraits. During your consultation, we’ll review your wardrobe choices together to ensure you’re fully prepared to look and feel your best for the session!

I’m not sure I’m ready to be in front of the camera. What if I don’t feel confident?
This experience is all about celebrating YOU as you are, and there is no "perfect" way to look. No matter your body shape, background, or age, you are beautiful, and we are NOT just saying that! Our goal is to create a safe, empowering space where you feel comfortable and confident. You will be guided every step of the way with posing, and expression, creating a relaxed atmosphere so you can embrace your beauty. The 40 Women Over 40 Photo Experience is about recognizing the strength and radiance in all women. Together, we’ll create a portrait that reflects who you are and celebrates your unique story.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my session?
To secure your session, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. If you need to cancel, please notify us at least 48 hours before your session.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of your session will forfeit the deposit.
If you cancel and wish to reschedule within 48-72 hours of the original session, your deposit can be applied to a future session, but you must reschedule within that window.
If you do not reschedule within 48-72 hours, the deposit will not be credited, and a new booking and deposit will be required.
Terms & Conditions for the 40 Over 40 Photo Experience
By booking a session for the 40 Over 40 campaign, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Payment Terms
The cost of the 40 Over 40 photo experience is $499. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking to secure your session. The remaining balance is due on the day of the photoshoot. All payments must be made via credit card, debit card, or Zelle payment method(s)
2. Rescheduling & Cancellations
If you need to reschedule your photoshoot, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in a rescheduling fee or forfeiture of your deposit. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session will not be refunded.
3. Image Usage Rights
By participating in the 40 Women Over 40 Photo Experience, you grant Honeydark Creative Studios permission to use the images taken during your session for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, website, marketing materials, and public exhibitions. These images may include before and after photos and behind the scenes photos of your session. The images may be used with or without your name or likeness. You will have access to the final photos as part of the agreed-upon deliverables, which may include digital collections, prints, or canvases. As the artist, Honeydark Creative Studios retains the copyright to all photographs, unless licensed to you at an agreed upon rate and contracted in writing.
4. Final Deliverables
The included deliverables for your 40 Women Over 40 Photo Experience are one signature 8”x12”. Additional products such as prints, digital collections, or canvases may be purchased for an additional fee. All products are delivered within 2 weeks after the photoshoot. However, this can vary based on the date you schedule your viewing session, and the products selected.
5. Limitations of Liability
Honeydark Creative Studios will not be liable for any damages or injuries that occur during your photoshoot. We are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience, but we cannot be held responsible for any personal injury or loss during the session.
6. Privacy & Confidentiality
All personal information provided during the booking process will be kept confidential and used solely for the purposes of managing your photoshoot and delivering your photos. Your personal details will never be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
7. Exhibition Participation
By participating in the 40 Women Over 40 Photo Experience, your image may be included in an online gallery or in-person exhibition. Booking your session signifies your agreement to have your image featured as part of the campaign.
8. Changes to Terms
Honeydark Creative Studios reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. All changes will be communicated to participants in a timely manner.
